Jenkins Johnson Gallery Now the representative Lisa Corinne Davis
Painter Lisa Corinne Davis Joined Jenkins Johnson Gallery, Which retains space in San Francisco and Brooklyn. Davis is known for its intricate, abstract canvases, some of which are now held by the Museum of Modern Art in New York and the Getty Museum in Los Angeles and will have its first solo exhibition in 2022 with the Jenkins Johnson Gallery. His work will also feature a gallery presentation at Fridge New York this year. He received the 2021 Arts and Letters Award from the American Academy of Arts and Letters. Winfred Rimbert Death at age 75
Winfred RimbertAn artist who first described Jim Crow South’s ornate and skinny skin has died at the age of 755. Rambert was born in 194Z in Zambia, USA. He and his family moved north after surviving a nearby luncheon and spending seven years in prison. There he transformed his experiences into art, which eventually earned him institutional notices. She starred solo in the movie York Square in New Haven in 1998, then performed at Yale University Art Gallery. His works have appeared in Harlem, Atlanta, Los Angeles and elsewhere.
L’Connie Gallery has moved to New York
L’Inconnue Gallery Moved from Montreal to the Chinatown neighborhood of New York. The industry will open the exhibition on April 29 with the opening of works by industrialists Emily Ludwig Schaefer and Frank Os Grossen in their new location.
