Lasan: Russia’s Olympic champions Natalia Antioch and Andrei Silvanov have been banned for four years after being named in a 2015 McLaren report, a sports court has ruled.

The anti-doping and world anti-doping agency complained of anti-doping violations last year after reports that a commission-sponsored doping system existed in Russia.

Silvanov, 36, won the high jump title at the 2008 Beijing Olympics and Antukh, 39, won the gold medal in the women’s 400m hurdles at the 2012 London Games. In 2004 he won a bronze and a silver medal in the 400 × 400m relay in Athens.

Both athletes will retain those medals because Cass has decided that only their results will be canceled after 2013.

Silnov has not competed since 2016, he stood, until 2016 he was vice-president of the Russian Athletics Federation.

The game’s top court convicted two other Russian athletes, middle-distance runner Yelena Soboleva and hammer driver Oksana Kondrativa, The McLaren reported.

CAAS gave no reason for the verdict, Sobalva was banned for eight years and all results from 2011 to 2012 were annulled. He has already snatched a 1500m silver medal from the 2007 World Championships.

Kondarayeva, who has never won a major medal, was banned for four years.

Kass also relaxed sanctions on four Russians, including Ivan Ukhov of Upper Russia, in four to two years and nine months.

Ukhav, who won the high jump title at the 2012 Olympics, has no decision on doping.
