Munich: Defender Alessandro Florenzi is the latest player to test for Paris Saint-Germain. COVID-19 His club tweeted on Monday and Bayern Munich will miss the Champions League game.
The club wrote on its Twitter account, “Alessandro Florenzi has been confirmed positive after the latest PCR SARS-Cove 2 test.”
The whole back was joined by fellow Italian Marco Verretti who also tested positive.
For the first leg of their quarter-final in Munich on Wednesday, there was PSG without midfielder Verretti in addition to the already suspended Argentine Leandro Perez.
Florenzi and Vararatti were both in the Italian squad for the recent international holiday.

“Players have been isolated for several days as a precaution,” PSG said.
The full back, with a back-to-back for Lille’s 1-0 defeat in League 1 on Saturday, was not on the team’s sheet.
